The best thing is, part of my UK pictures are inside. sobs. idiot. it will take me more than 300 bucks to get the hard disk changed.

We got this SARS exercise in school yesterday, whereby all students need to stay in their own zone and wear lanyard around their necks with student IDs. Of cause need to take temperature too lor. But then, who on earth will hang ur student pass infront of your chest!? so, students walk around with lanyard without student IDs. a bit silly lah. Still got to queue up to take temperature and get a sticker. it reminds me of JC days during the SARS period. taking temperature twice a day and laugh at classmates who got extremely low temperature.
because this is the first time i'm having this exercise, i asked a stupid qn to jo. how come the sticker yellow one? because we are yellow zone ah? haha. end up it's because MORNING session is yellow and afternoon is blue. -.-"

It's been a week since i returned from uk.
Wooooah. HECTIC 7 weeks i am going to have. PROJECTS, PROJECTS and more PROJECTS. Didn't even have time to blog.
I realise i didnt post some pictures we took in the pub on my last day!!

And then... let me show you guys what is my LAST meal in england.
this pot of noodles is generated from 5 packets of different flavour instant noodles. the famous indo mee from indonesia, courtesy of yanyan.
The guys were complaining on the way me n yanyan cooked them. we dump all the noodles in, and pour away the water, and add in all the different seasoning in. BUT it's nice k!!
The guys are really ke lian lah. They ran out of dish washing detergent i think a few days before we are due to come back, so guess what! they used detergent that are used to wash clothes to wash their dishes!! my god! when we saw that .. -!- CANNOT BELIEVE OUR EYES. and then what happen? MUSHROOM SOUP WITH A BIT OF DETERGENT TASTE is one of the dish we had for dinner.
to prove that COKE is EXTREMELY expensive in uk, we shared a drink while waiting to board the plane in manchester airport. It cost us 1.95 pounds for that cup k.
look at this!! i was laughing so hard on the morning of out departure. because momo practically look like a tweety bird here.
Jilly and me went to jean yip for our haircut yesterday! the spa treatment is like spreading mint on ur head, and then put some smoke there lor. not much use.

It's been a week since i went back to school. I LOVE going to school can. got all the company from my friends!
But then, all the modules that i had this sem are soooooooo BORING. i almost fall asleep during lectures. *yawns*
Oh yeah, thanks to joanna, yixin,qiuli, alan, kenneth, qingxian for my belated birthday prezzie!! thankssssss a lot! i love it!! *muackssss*
Everybody were so excited to see each other in school again. haha. ok lah, esp me can. go around to hug people and screaming away like a mad woman. hehe. But, the sad thing is half of my class had crossed over to the other module liao, so currently, half of it is replaced by people from the other module. I love my old class! everybody just can clique so well. but i'm not sure about now lah, not much interaction though.
Got suprised when moses told me that NAPFA is only less than 1 month away! how can they do that to us. no time to train liao. surely die with flying colours. Though this sem is more slack, but then it's rather short. 7 weeks only leh.
i'm excited over my kickboxing class now. *yeahhhh*
London got bombed again lor. whyyyyyyyyy??? why did they do it again to hurt the innocent? hmm... cant understand the terrorists.

I'm officially back in singapore for 24 hours. yeaHHH.
But then, i miss uk too..
no more handsome ang moh for me to bio.
no more drivers stopping to let you cross the road first.
no more using pounds.
no more mornings whereby the friendly cleaners will say good morning to you before u can greet them. yah lor.. they are so fast can.
no more my cuite zebrafish.
no more buying standard class train tickets and then venture to the first clss for our journeys.
no more mess-up cooking.
no more carefree travelling with my OIAP mates.
no more plain sandwiches for lunch.
no more instant noodles.
no more cannot use the telephone on my bed.

Woo HOO~ tomorrow marks my last full day in the lab! after which, i will be going out with my collegues ( or whatever the spelling is ) to bath hotel for dinner and drinks!! hee.. the purpose to bring me there is to let me play darts lor.!! can u believe it.
My partner sent out a secret email to everybody, saying that we are going out for dinner tml and he said that he thinks that i secretly wanted to play darts BECAUSE when we went there the previous time, i was looking at old aunties and uncles playing darts!!

neh, this one lor. u all remember? haha.
Soooooooo, i am soooo going to play darts tml. who cares about old aunties and uncles laughing at you when you cant shoot or whatever.
okies lah. who cares about me. hehe.
It's already 11pm , buttt, i am still boiling my sago for tomorrow's meeting. woah lau, i've been boiling those irritating whitey stuff for 3 hours already. from 8-11, still it's not ready! i cant believe it.
I'm sooo proud of myself can, i made agar agar myself hor. JILLIAN FOO and LIU SUWEI! haha. dont say i also ask my mama to make for me kaes.
I even made the coconut agar agar, got 2 colours hor. okies lah, of cause i did ask my mummy how to do it lah.
haiz. beening spend like 3 days on the microscope trying to take nice nice pictures of the embryos. cock-eye already still no nice pictures. boooooo~
Anyways, i know tml is going to pass real fast and the next thing you know is me sitting in a pool of lugguage, not knowing what to pack into what.
Going to check on the sago liao. hope they are not chao ta!! haha. poor yanyan's pottie.

just another 5 more days lehhh. i'm just so so so happy man. *smiles*
Woah lau. i cannot believe it man. there was a bomb hoax yesterday in brimingham and another one in manchester today.
London is the city of uk, so naturally the terrorists will bomb there first. then brimingham is the 2nd largest, they received the 2nd bomb hoax. then manchester is the 3rd one.. i heard sheffield is the 4th biggest leh!! choyyyyyyyyyyy!!
anyways, that's not the point lah. the point is i have finished my final report!! yeahh *claps claps*
but then i'm e-mailing to my partner for him to read. modification is not included as finished lah.
hehe. i'm so so happy that i can hop around the house if i'm in spore and yak non-stop on the phone with my buddies.
just 5 more days!!! at 5pm sharp on friday, i will officially say bye to my lab and proceed to sheffield railway to manchester picadilly station to owen's park. then on saturday morning, owen's park to manchester airport to amsterdam airport to singapore changi airport to rivervale drive to my flat!!!!!!! yipppeee!

Myyyyyyy god. London was being bombed yesterday morning when i was busy collect embryos in the aquarium.
It was so so sad. just like 911. damm it. why do they have to do it to innocent people? I've read the newspaper just now and the way witnesses described the scene, you can roughly gauge how bad the situation is.
One survivor said that he seen this woman being RIPPED apart, and with a few body parts missing. my god. and he thinks that she didnt survive. well, it's better not survived than to suffer more, like the other woman, she was still struggling for people to help her even though she was badly hurt, more than the previous one. i didnt want to describe it.
Jane told me that her friend's dad is soooooooooooooo lucky to survive the bombings because he alighted from king's cross at around 8.45am and the bomb went off at 8.52am. just a matter of 7 minutes decide whether u will stay alive or not. life is cruel and of cause unfair. Why do good people always die early?
Maybe that's why there's more and more bad people around?

Well... i'm another day nearer to my departure from sheffield to singapore.
I'm pretty excited over it. BUT.. on the other hand i missed uk too. the people in the lab are always so nice to me, making me feel welcome. ehh.. haha.
After considering for so long, <-------------------------------------------> this long, i have decided to continue my studies related to science. why? i'm not very sure too. maybe i cant possibly do arts after doing like 5 years of science? siao bo!! waste all my time and effort right? and i might not even like arts if i pursue my degree in arts. oh yah, wait a minute, i might not even get to the science course. tee-hee.
Anyways, that's out of point lah. but i'm so bored from doing my final report can.
OOOOOOOh yah, do u guys know there's like a duck couple in firth court? Dr Warren who brought me around the school on my first day showed me the ducks. But then..... i never see them quacking around after that. until..... when summer came, the mama duck laid 5 eggs and they hatched!
These naughty ducks think they are some prince and princess can. quack around the whole of firth court, asking people to make way for them.
they are camera-shy lah, walking so fast. make me look like an idiot, trying to snap a picture of them with 3 people staring at me.
ann-cecile left on monday for a holiday and will not be back till i left for spore. soooo.. my last picture with her.

weeeeeees! can go home in 2 weeks time! yeahh.
Actually wanted to go back to uni to do my report with rosemary. but after reaching sch, she's feeling tired so i went home again. haha.
Anyways, i was so bored at home that i decided to take a walk in city centre. guess what? they are having this carnival, something our chingay. but then.. the difference was that,majority of the participants are lil kids from primary school! they are so cute can.
As it was a suprise to me, i did not bring my camera along lah. so make do with the poor quality hp pictures. as i was trying to snap pictures, i was frantically deleting pictures too. make space make space!
Boo-hoo. my brother is leaving spore to taiwan to work in a few hours time. even before i can go home he's leaving. eeeeeeeeeeks. but anyway, good luck to your future endeavours!! work hard there huh... dont everyday go see char bo. hehe. i'll be waiting for u to come back!! and of cuz.. take the opportunity to visit u in taiwan!! take cares!!!!!!!
